Great turnout for showcase with Athletes Guide

On Friday 25th June, London Rangers hosted a showcase match alongside our friends at Athletes Guide.

The showcase was organised for young players interested in joining our football scholarship programme, which provides a sporting excellence experience alongside a suite of academic and vocational qualifications.

The showcase was attended by around forty players in total, with a lot of great talent being displayed on the pitch.

In order to accommodate the large number of players, the game was split up into three main periods, where the players were challenged to try and adapt to different formations.

At each interval, our Lead Vocational Coach Stephen Quashie also instructed the players to focus on specific aspects of their game. The changing targets included positional play, passing quality, movement and speed on counter attacks, and defensive formations.
